Next Dance Alchemy Facilitator Training / BALI 9-20 August 2026 / 9th edition
Dance Alchemy weekly practice is where the roots stay alive.
These sessions are not only classes or workshops. They are living laboratories — spaces where the Dance Alchemy methodology continues to evolve through direct experience, movement, relationship, play, and shared exploration.
They are offered as a contribution to the community and as a way to keep the work embodied, accessible, inclusive and connected to real people.
For those who feel something deeper is possible — and are ready to practice with it.
Bali — and movement communities around the world — are full of beautiful spaces:
ecstatic dance, contact jams, free movement, and “just feel, let go, and express.”
And yet, many people experience the same loop:
Release → feel good → repeat.
No structure. No integration. No real change over time.
On the other side, many spaces focus on techniques, styles, and choreography.
They build skill — and often lead to a different limitation:
Learn → repeat → perform.
Disconnected from self. Limited expression. No real transformation.
Dance Alchemy brings another way.
There are no steps to follow.
No choreography to copy.
Instead, you work with simple, precise tools — that create real change over time.
A system where:
structure supports freedom — and freedom becomes something you can actually develop, not just experience.
Rooted in:
dance improvisation
contact improvisation
dance therapy
martial arts
somatic practices
spirituality
embodied leadership
A holistic, playful, and inclusive practice designed to support:
personal growth
creativity
relationships
leadership
professional development
Dance Alchemy brings together 100+ practical tools, games, and exercises.
These tools are the result of decades of experience across movement, performance, therapy, education, and embodied practice.
Accessible to everyone — regardless of experience.
But not superficial.
Each session is a structured journey — built on a system refined over 20+ years.
Focused on one clear principle, each practice introduces a simple tool to explore, embody, and integrate through movement.
Step by step, the practice supports:
presence, awareness, energy, movement quality, creativity, connection, freedom of expression and confidence.
1. The Alchemist’s Warm-Up
Breath, core activation, dynamic warm-up, and body–mind–spirit alignment
2. Dance Alchemy Practice
Precise, simple tools for movement, creation, and transformation
3. Integration
Full-capacity embodied free dance
Closing and integration
Dance Alchemy is built on 100+ practical tools developed over 20+ years.
Each session introduces one clear entry point into the work — simple, precise, and designed to be experienced, not just understood.
This is not random movement — You work with clear tools that support awareness, creativity, relationship, transformation, and embodied freedom.
Here are a few examples:
Breath as a carrier of awareness
Core energy activation and body–mind–spirit alignment
Building presence through dynamic movement and attention
Working with universal movement qualities (flow, structure, balance)
Developing body awareness and perception (what you leave behind in movement — and in life)
Connecting breath, voice, and action
Sourcing movement from within (instead of performing)
Transforming habits into creative material
Using imagination, limitations, and “impossibility” as a playground
Instinct vs. mind in decision-making
Timing and expectations in relation
Leading, following, and real connection without words
Trust, listening, and reading the other
Giving and receiving safely
Moving in and out of connection with clarity and intention
Working with fear, resistance, and self-doubt
Using obstacles as creative potential
Accessing deeper layers of expression through non-analytical methods
These are only a few examples. The full system unfolds through practice.
You don’t need to understand everything first. You experience it — and embody it over time.
you feel something is missing in dance, free expression, or movement spaces
you want depth, not just another experience
you want both structure and freedom
you’re ready to work with yourself through movement
you want a consistent practice space for awareness, creativity, and embodied exploration
you want to experience Dance Alchemy before committing to deeper trainings
you’re looking to just zone out
you prefer no structure at all
you’re not open to being challenged
you’re looking for quick results without commitment
